Chapter 7

Vicki was tired. She was in the cabin sitting at a table with a few of the other women. The days were growing colder as one month slipped into the next. There had been much to organize for the long winter ahead. They had spent the day preparing for a feast. There was bear and elk to cook, a few boars and mutton and many fowl of all types. They had also harvested what they could from the surrounding fields and it was time to relax. Vicki laughed at that, only the men and children seemed to be able to relax while the women still worked their asses off. She shook her head; it was still the same in her own century.

Vicki had been practicing swordplay with Hott and Valerie for the last month and a half. Her arms grew used to the larger sword. She had been accustomed to using a saber for fencing, or a European dueling sword. She was familiar with a katana. She had perfected her quick footwork and could riposte—or double-time. She could hack in a single motion in single time. Hott worked heavily with her on the art of cutting verses thrusting. Percussive damage. Hott gave high praises when earned and derogatory comments...also when earned.

She was getting better. Her confidence was growing as was her skill. She could almost lift Hott's sword and he had laughed at her efforts, telling her Alfarin had made it for him alone. She had admired it. What wouldn't a historian give for an original?

Hott had been patient and to her embarrassment, more than just a little suggestive. He had given her winks and a few times squeezed her behind while teaching her to use the sword and hinting she was more than able to play with his other sword. It was obvious he wanted her. Valerie had just shaken her head and rolled her eyes at a few of her husband's lewd comments. Vicki realized with some surprise that the woman could care less if Hott had sex with her. She was Ulfr's and Hott was the only one in the village who had Ulfr's permission to take her—if she agreed. When Vicki had asked Valerie curiously why she wouldn't mind, Valerie had smiled and asked her to think about Ulfr's huge cock thumping up her ass when she was nine months pregnant.

Vicki had shuddered. Valerie laughed and told her she expected Vicki would want her to return the favor when the time came. Valerie wanted Hott nowhere near her in her last trimester.

Vicki had blushed. She knew Hott was only allowed to take her behind and she admitted she was curious. He was a handsome brute, not as handsome as Ulfr, but decidedly the only male in the village who came close. And she wasn't afraid of him.
